Does anyone have a trajectory line graph that is actually to scale with yards and inches?

Both the 50 & 100yd zero's are equally useful zeroing methods. I just prefer the 100yd zero because even though it drops of more @ 200yds+, it has a flatter trajectory for the distances I am more likely to encounter (0-150yds), and is still very useful out to 300yds, as long as you know your hold-offs.

I was talking to someone today about this thread, and was told to reference that info also. Thanks for posting.

I think everyone is so self-centered they were concentrating on their zero . This is a great general zero thread, there are a few threads out there, but this is the best I've seen.
    The OP's original question:

    Two questions:
what is your Red Dot Zero, & why?
If you sight in at 100 yards, what is the trajectory supposed to be at 25-50-75 yards. I will shoot it soon enough at the range, but thought you experts could shed lmore light. As always, thanks!
I believe that discussing the 50 & 100yds zeroes is completely applicable to this discussion

To answer the OP's second question more directly.... With a 100yd point of aim/point of impact zero, @ 25yds your point of impact will be Approx. (-1.47") low. @ 50yds your point of impact will be Approx. (-0.7") low, and @ 75yds your point of impact will be Approx. (-0.2") low.

Here's another excellent thread on explaining ballistics/trajectories and off sets, when shooting urban prone. https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=33747

    Yep, my bad.

That OP is like the reading comprehension test examples. He starts out about high-bore and then goes to red-dot only. I should have just answered "c".

    I feel great shame.

So am I correct after reading all of the charts etc.. that basically if you zero 2" low +/- at 25 yards, that it will give you a good zero out to 200?

Or am I reading the numbers incorrectly?

More like 1-1/2" below POA/LOS, according to most of the arcs described here.

I suggest taking your rifle out and zeroing it at your chosen range and learning and understanding that zero. Shoot at 10, 25, 50, 75 yards and learn firsthand what your holdoffs are. Charts are nice but nothing replaces actually *knowing* your zero.

*For a 50yd Zero, Point of Impact should be approx. (-1.12") @ 25yds.

*For a 100yd Zero, Point of Impact should be approx. (-1.47") @ 25yds.

    1/2" @ 25yds makes a big difference downrange.
