    Marathon Training

I'm going to be running in the 50K Equinox Ultra-Marathon in Fairbanks, AK in September. I would like to know if anyone here can suggest a good training regimen that would allow me to stay healthy, but also get in shape for the run. I completed the marathon last year on about 2 weeks notice. Since I have a little more time to prep any ideas would be helpful.

I would go to Ed's website. Ed is a founding member of Delta and is a serious ultra marathon racer and trainer. He is a really great guy and managed to help keep me running with him a few times when I thought I was gonna die

Hal Higdon has very good training programs. I used one of his 18 week programs to train for Boston.
