I guess I'm the odd one out. I prefer the 4 MOA dot. It's quicker to pick up for my eyes that are getting a little bit older. I'm somewhat suspect of claims that people can shoot a smaller dot with more precision. It just doesn't work that way for me. They seem to shoot the same for me.

Member Molon did a pretty good write up here regarding accuracy and 4 MOA dots.

If you are going to use a magnifier, I would recommend the 2 MOA...other than that, I like how quick you can get on target a bit quicker with the 4 MOA.

With that said, my personal preference is the 2 MOA.

haha, i've been doing the exact same thing! but i settled on the LT150 and no regrets at all, because i don't need my aimpoint to be that far forward and it looks weird without an magnifier or nv attached - i get it tomorrow too!

    We WILL expect pictures.

    T1 or H1

Oh that's not an option? Another vote for 2 MOA.

Since the T1/H1 are supposed to be 3.4 MOA, is the difference that noticeable? I want a sight for close-150 yds with very good FOV at any angle. I have heard that the T1/H1 are tougher to sight through if you can not maintain proper cheek weld, is this true?

Will the Ml3 be better suited for these conditions?

My wife who is rather in experienced shooter has no problem what so ever with her cheek weld and head alignment when using my T1. It's really a non issue unless you firing from some really weird positions, and even then I doubt it would really be an issue. The weight savings and reduced effect on your peripheral vision is more than worth it.

I vote for the T-1. I know it wasn't an option you were originally looking at, but I have 3 of them now and love them! The small size and extremely light weight (6.2 oz with larue high mount) makes it the best option for most shooters IMHO.

But I'm obsessed with size and weight when it comes to my ARs, and you might not care at all about those two things.

Any word on when the T-1 will be available with a 2 MOA dot ? Like having your cake and eating it to.
