4 moa or 2moa dot

Any word on when the T-1 will be available with a 2 MOA dot ? Like having your cake and eating it to.

No word, but here's a little secret. The LED emitter which the M4 and M4S uses for a 2 MOA dot is the exact same emitter which the T1 uses. The only difference is the distance of the mirror from the emitter, longer on the M4 hence the smaller dot, and closer on the T1 hence the "larger" dot.

If you just turn down the brightness on the T1 until the dot is barely visible you will get a crisp, small dot which you can use for precision aiming.

I have one of each. I like the 2, but at brighter settings it does seem to "halo" more than the 4moa. For example, when transitioning from the bright outdoors to a darker indoor environment. The 4moa doesn't see to halo as much, but I could just be seeing things.
