    TA33G-H pics!

Look what what I got from the man in the brown truck today.

I have one question though. Part of the horseshoe does not illuminate and the top of the 4 does. Is this normal or should I send it to Trijicon?

A VERY BIG THANK YOU TO GRANT AT G&R TACTICAL.

The inability to post pics in a size that makes them even remotely viewable on the majority of monitors?

Didn't know they could box that up and ship it UPS.

Thank you for pointing that out, I didn't realize they were that big. I fixed them hope that's easy to see on a small monitor.

I see what you mean in the first photo, more bloom almost washes it out somewhat in the second, no impact-no idea in the third.

Unless it affects your ability to shoot with it, I'd say no need. It's not common, but not horribly unusual, either. I'd say shoot it and keep an eye on it in case the effect spreads, but contact Trijicon to see what they have to say. Make new photos, date-stamped if possible for recordkeeping, send one with your question, and take more later if you see a change you don't like, depending on what they have to say immediately.

    SUCH a beautiful reticle!

The black spots would not affect the function of the scope but for the $ I would not expect them. I have a Tripower and the chevron is perfect. This is my first ACOG.

Whats the size of the dot inside the horshoe? I was thinking of getting one, (actually swapping a red chevron for green horseshoe dot $230.00 through trijicon), but unsure if the dot will be as precise as the tip of the chevron. Nice scope by the way.

I am trying to find this out myself. It came with the standard TA33 manual which only has the chevron in it.

The recticle washout in the third pic seems pretty much the same as the amber in such conditions I see with my amber chevron. One would gather lately that green solves all issues. Very interesting. Thanks much for working on putting those pics up.

I put that one up but I probably shouldn't have. I looks completely different with the naked eye vs a digital camera. I took that photo in full sun and the reticle was very bright and the camera compensated which is why it looks washed out. To the naked eye it is still very much in contrast with the yellow house.
