Day 1: We went over lights, stocks, barrels, loads, etc.
Did a bit of a shooting and there was 4 hours of lecture at the beginning but I have the shittiest memory ever so don't expect me to remember everything.
Tactical Slings ****ing break
Pistol Grip Good.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
You need a sling
You need a light
You need to pattern your gun. Some guns shoot a 4" spread at 25 yards, some shoot a 15" Decide how you want your patterns to be and switch ammo until you get what you want.
Finger off the ****ing trigger, safety ****ing on.
Do not take your sights off the target after you rack the slide until you confirm your target is dead.
Decide how you want to reload. Through the chamber or through the slide for the first round.
I decided to go with: Action closed, load from bottom, rack action, press check, load from bottom to capacity.
Do not look at the gun when youre reloading, look at your target. you can grab the shells between your index and pinkie finger and slide it down the trigger guard and it will slide directly into the magazine well
you will get made fun of if your phone goes off 10 times within 4 hours
shit breaks. more shits break more times.
also, dont be "that guy" we have about 5 of them that were late either in the morning, lunch, break, or they just suck at life.
theres more but i'm tired and gonna go to sleep now
