    Glock Mags

Can anyone tell me if G22 mags will work in a G23? The G22 mags are 15 rounders and the 23 is 13 just need to know.

They'll work fine, but will hang out a bit.

Yeah your wife answered my question earlier. I posted this before she answered me. How far will it hang out? I ask because CDNN is having a sale on mags 9.99.

An inch or so. I use M&P9 full size mags as a reload when I carry my M&P9 Compact concealed. When I carry a Glock 26 I carry a G17 mag as a reload.

Since you asked about "hang out", here's a crappy pic of a G17 mag in a G19 (same fit as 22 in 23):

Ok so why the hell is it so hard to get the base plates off the Glock mags? I never had this hard of time with my SIG mags. Damn it man I don't want to tear them up just get them off.

Hold the magazines on the edge of a table or countertop with just the baseplate sticking off. Make sure the back of the magazine is facing up.

Shove a punch or small screwdriver in the little takedown hole and just lever downward. The baseplate should pop right off.

I too have always had a hard time getting Glock base plates off...I remember once seeing a tool just for this, but don't recall where it was!

I use the 'Glock Armorers tool'. Hold the mag in my left hand (front side toward my chest) and push the Glock tool all the way into the tap and pull on the tool to dislodge it from the mag body. Works everytime even on the G26/27/33 mags.
