    Thx for the info!
    I was going to switch uppers first and if the problem persists I will try the noveske bcg in the Lmt and vise versa. Don't know what to do if the problem still persists with the noveske bcg. Probably need to send it to Lmt then...

    Just got word from the seller, he purchase the complete upper from jensenarms.com and the complete lower from Texas tactical on houston.

    Oh I think I got It !!!!!

    With the stock change did you go from an A2 stock to a A1 length? Don't they need a shorter screw? The longer screw would hit the rear of the buffer wouldn't it?

    There's my shot in the dark

    What screw? I replaced the sopmod stock with a ctr...slide off, slide on. Didn't know I had to replace a screw.

    Do you have standard G.I. mags? If you do you can't load more than 28 rounds. The malfunction you described (mag inserted bolt open) sounds like an overloaded mag. If Your LMT still wont cycle it sounds like a leak in your gas system. Check under the top inside of your Omega rail and see if any gas residue has acumulated. Could be a split gas tube.

    I used new pmags, what I described was not a malfuntion...merely how I started the shooting session.

    Thanks for all the help and suggestions everybody, this will all help me troubleshoot it this evening.

    Ok, had a little time to trouble-shoot. I put my other Lower on - same thing. Put in my other Bolt Carrier Group and it ran like a champ...85 rounds slow and rapid fire not a single problem. Big improvement...that's how it should have ran from the factory.
    The seller offered to get it fixed on his expense so we will see how that works out but I'm thinking I'll get a BCM Auto BCG.

    Good deal. So another BCG fixed the problem. Now if you wish, you can concentrate on finding the problem with the original bolt carrier group. Or just let the seller deal with it.

    Some possibilities;

    - Partially plugged carrier key?
    - Loose carrier key?
    - Out-of-spec carrier key?
    - Worn gas rings?
