I can't find the thread those pics originally came from (just some thread w/ a repost of the pics), but IIRC, he Duracoated the rail, then used some pretty standard paint on all the plastic bits, and used one of those crayon dealies Brownell's sells to fill in the lower markings.

I thought it was pretty sick looking myself!

My 10yr old daughter has been shooting the snot out her little pink Crikett .22 for two years now. Her dream gun is the purple anodized AR she saw at a gun show a while back. The deal is, as soon as she demonstrates to dad that she can shoot any one of my ARs, she gets a purple one for herself. Got a year and a half before she's old enough for Junior competition, her goal is to outshoot the boys using a purple rifle. I will do everything I can to assist her with achieving that goal - even if I have to spend all my free time at the loading bench.

    You rock dad.
Good luck, and good shooting to your daughter.

If it's a Lego Rifle, it's only appropriate to paint it Lego Red

I wouldn't laugh at somone who takes his son and/or daughter shooting. I would feel sad if you didn't. Red rifle or black
