    Not cool to paint one training aid blue or red, or less lethal orange.

    Paint or silk screen the rules of firearms safety on the side of the magwell. that'd be cool.

    As far as I'm concerned, if red is his favorite color, make him happy. I'm glad he's interested in shooting, and gives him something to personalize as his own.

    A habit I've noticed with a few fathers on here, is making the kids recite the four rules before each range trip. I think its a great way of ingraining safety.

    Don't let nobody tell you cain't paint an AR red.




    The receivers are anodized that color, i got lucky with the paint.

    Puce. It is not cool to paint an AR puce. I am not really sure exactly what color puce is, but any color named puce does not belong on a rifle. Not even a girl's rifle.

    I think it's cool you did this! But be wary, at 8 he may change his favorite color several times in the next few years...
