    Crimson Trace IR

Anyone know if the Crimson Trace little IR lasers are worth a damn? I'd like a DBAL but it's out of my range now and for a while. Plus, they're small.

Also, is that light they have for the Glock pistol any good? Thanks, lads.

They were just announced and haven't hit the market yet. So I don't know if anyone will be able to tell you how they'll preform yet.

What's your budget? The IR OTAL is considerably cheaper than the DBAL ($525). Depending on what power you feel you need, the Las/Tac 2 costs $325

Realization/Goal for me, average civilian shooter: Spend at least 5 hours dry firing, drills, shooting, getting proper live instruction for every 1 hour spent surfing forums about equipment set up.

Did you replace the laser diode with an IR diode? How many mW is the IR laser now?
