how reliable is this trigger ?Would you use it in a fighting carbine that you stake your life with ?
I guess what I'm trying to say is to lighten the trigger you're also lightening the hammer spring too.Is the trigger job so reliable would someone take it into a combat zone with them?
I think it may be OK for punching holes in paper and shooting milk jugs but.I don't know if it would be reliable enough to count my life on it.
Does anyone know for sure ?

    I don't know. Yes.

I haven't heard of people having light primer strikes with these (unlike some aftermarket triggers), and mine functions 100%, so far. Ask me in 5,000 rounds, and I'll be able to tell you how reliable it's been...

I've only got one AR, and it's got a Bill Springfield trigger in it. The stock trigger was so crappy that I wouldn't have wanted to use the rifle to make any kind of difficult shot in any circumstances.

I sent a standard MilSpec LMT trigger to Bill and had it back within about a week. I havent had the chance to shoot it yet because the rifle it is going to reside in is being rebuilt at the moment, but man, He sure tuned this sucker up nicely!!! I asked him to set the pull weight at 4.5lbs. There is zero creep in the trigger at all, and the break is super crisp. I cant wait to get this rifle back together to test it out....

Just out of curiosity, does it consistently pass the function check? Some of us have experienced failure when checking trigger reset.

    Eric,

No issues what so ever with the reset during the function test. I think that is common when the legs of the trigger spring are over tweaked??? I had a WOA Tuned RRA 2-stage trigger that suffered from a weak reset. I put a stock, un-tweaked trigger spring in and that seemed to help.
