Gents...a few extra details.

The person in the video giving orders appears to be a security guard hired by the school where the event was being hosted.

School property is a different animal than other public property according to Virginia law:

This provision gives the school officials wide discretion in who and what they allow on their property. While the security guard was CLEARLY being an ass, he was still apparently within his legal authority.

Issues of fairness could be raised with the school system...but it's unlikely they would care enough to fire the guy.

Were the other Pro-Obamacare signs also on school property? I doubt that this law allows school administrators the right to censor based on their own feelings. In fact, in my own Albrmarle County the county lost to the tune of $150,000 for citing "school policy" when forcing a middle-school student to turn his NRA shooting camp T-Shirt inside out.

If the school in question here banned ALL the signs, regardless of political position, then I would agree they are within their rights to do so.

Its unfortunate that it is this way but in this case I believe the cop was making the kid take down the sign because it hurt the image of his new half BLACK president. I've seen more racism since this half black half white president got elected than I care to. Its a joke if you don't see the racism spreading every where.

Do you think this cop would have said a dang thing if the sign had a pic of BO and streaming letter spelling out "healthcare reform now"? I highly doubt it. Like mentioned above, cops like this one are whats gonna make me weary of any cops I dont personally know when the shit hits the fan. Having said that dont get me wrong, I think the majority of the L.E community would never carry out an order to take guns away from citizens but when I see cops like this how am I gonna tell?

And by the way, am I the only one that noticed the cop didnt seem like he knew he was on film? It seemed to me that he didnt know the kid had a camera, and the angle being so low could it have been hidden? Interesting......

Apparently he had already told the guy he could not display the sign before and was very politely telling him again. The guy with the sign was clearly looking to make his video and was trying to provoke the guard.

Yes it is America and in America we have laws and rules of behavior. I fully expect this jerk would have made a bigger ass of himself if he was inside the meeting. The result would have been him being ejected from the room yelling "don't taze me bro" all the way out the door.

Wow, that statement demonstrates a lack of situational awareness. This was supposed to be a town hall meeting, which directly implies open forum. The fact the guy had a sign, which was opposed to some (or many) who were present, should not have been enough to get him removed.

The DHS report earlier this year demonstrated exactly how this administration feels about it's opponents. They want a war, because that is the fruition of the revolution they seek. What they don't really appreciate or fully understand, is where the dividing line will be within the military and LE. Quite frankly, I don't believe anyone really has a grasp on that. Both the military and LE can be duped into believing they are protecting the nation, if the conditions are right. Declaring martial law after a major terrorist attack would be one way of accomplishing that. Ever wonder why this administration is weakening our national security? This administration is full of Marxists. I trust them as far as I can throw them.
