I stared at all the pictures of the Mod 3 & 4 for an hour trying to make up my mind. Finally ordered the Mod 3, now I'm having second thoughts. damn!
Yes, G&R finally got them back in stock. Just ordered 2 Mod 4's. Whoot!![]()
Just ordered a mod4 from BRAVO! Monday seems so far away...
To follow up. The second stop of the day by Mr. Brown had my package from Grant. I "tested" both in a rather rudimentary fashion, and I can say that both the 3 & 4 make the goofy cross hand reach required of Lefty's (or Righties working weak-side) easier than the factory/mil-spec charging handle. For my medium-size hand the 4 is plenty large to grab, although my brother who has much bigger meat hooks than I liked the larger 3 especially when he had on the gloves he wears on call-outs. However as a Rightie he preferred the 4 when he was manipulating the handle as he would in most instances.
Not very scientific, but initial impressions are often lasting.
