We have channels in place to deal with these issues and we would much rather customers use them. When the only types of posts we deal with on these forums are problem threads it makes us less interested in being involved with these forums.
I think there was more discussion on KAC won't sell to CA in the industry section than any other subject.
Users of this forum have a wealth of information available between Kevin B. and Coldblue. I think they would be better off using that info in a more positive way. It is known that KAC will stand behind our product . We don't like to feel like we are strong armed into being responsive. Please OP don't take this in a direct comment towards you.
It would take a lot of fun out of the forums for me if I spent my time responding to problems. I do appreciate the info Coldblue and KevinB put out on the forums.
That being said, what are the channels you have in place? I recently needed a small KAC part (through no fault of KAC) and didn't really know where to turn. I tried KAC direct, but no dice for a civilian, they referred to Lawmens, but they looped me back to the vendor, which is where I started from.
In the end Kevin handled it for me after connecting on a different forum (thanks, Kevin). For me a public forum is the last place I want to sort out a problem or need, but didn't know how else to connect.
Maybe some info posted in your subforums with your preferred contact info would help? Please don't take this as a complaint. It's not. Just relating my experiance and wondering what a better way would be.
My contact info is in my sig line, shoot me emails and I will try to connect you with the applicable folks.
We learned that this SR15E3 and two others where from on a older shipment that went out prior to the detection of the problems with the upper.
We have instituted an added step into Gun Assembly, so guns will not have excessive windage issues, as well as we corrected the issue with that small lot of URX's

i've been too busy shooting my SR25 and SR15 to post much.and haven't had any problems to speak of anyway. only problem i have with KAC is a severe shortage of those triple tap brakes! (I've posted WTB ad here, and cruise arfcom and gunbroker daily waiting for one to pop up for sale)
my PM box is full of interesting info from you two, as I'm sure is the case with many others here, so thanks for taking the time to respond. it's much appreciated!
i wish KAC sold their lowers, 50% of ARs for me is the experience of building them up part for part as i want it in my basement
