Selling new Alexander Arms 6.5 Grendel upper with AA mag. I was thinking about getting into reloading, but simply don't have the time to do so. The upper has the following parts (and prices I paid):
AA 16" SS Grendel heavy barrel, bolt and complete A4 upper, 1:8.5 twist, 0.730 under hand guard, 0.750" gas block dia, end is threaded 9/16-24 TPI, M4 feedramps, headspaced from factory ($365)
AA bolt carrier ($90)
midlength gas tube ($15)
VTAC rifle length picatinny rail ($75)
BCM charging handle (~$25)
JP SS low profile adjustable 0.750 dia gas block ($69)
WCI/AA 6.5G muzzle brake ($99)
VTAC rifle length free float AL tube - rifle length ($175)
AA 24 round mag ($37)
Barrel and gas block were installed and bedded in a manner according to Bill Alexander using blue loctite (Mr. Alexander Arms). Upper has not been fired!
Total for parts alone (less shipping) was $950. Willing to sell for $800 or may consider trading for nice 5.56 or 6.8 upper having value roughly equal to $950. I will throw in two boxes of AA 123 gr Lapua Scenar ammo ($29 each) for free. All you need is optics/sights, a lower and you're ready to go.
