So I was thinking about all the countries I have visited on the Govt's dime and was wondering who has visited the most.
Here is my list:
1. Japan
2. Hong Kong (while the Brits owned it)
3. France
4. Spain
5. Ecuador
6. Panama
7. Haiti
8. Monaco
9. Puerto Rico (yes I know it technicall does not count)
10. Virgin Islands
11. Bahamas
12. Cuba
13. Columbia
14. Crotia
15. Mexico
My favorite? Crotia, Monaco and HK.

Don't think I can top that list. Unfortunately all these were on my own dime.

Guess I did make it close to 15. Favorite by far was Switzerland
Lots of places still on my list I want to visit; Australia and New Zealand are near the top. There are still a lot of places I still want to go in this great country first though so I'm going to concentrate on those.

If you ever make it to Switz, definitely check out Interlaken. One of the most breathtakingly beautiful places. Town between 2 crystal clear (and very cold, even in summer) lakes, surrounded by mountains. Lots of good hiking and cool little towns up in the surrounding mountains.
Of your list Monaco definitely peaks my interest. Something just doesn't sound fun about Colombia though, maybe I'm wrong.

I want to travel more in Europe now. I also want to go to New Zealand and China. None of these destinations were on Uncle Sam, I have Shell, BP, Exxon, and Baker Hughes to blame.
ETA: Grant where in Ecuador were you? I lived in Quito for six months and traveled all over that country. I absolutely loved it there. When I win the lottery I'll buy an old Spanish hacienda in the mountains and use it as a vacation home.
