I have the same problem as the OP. Joe at DD has offered to either fix or replace.

New sight just arrived from Daniel Defense. No side to side play at all.
Great customer service!

Excellent!
I’m glad to hear the DD design worked out the typical play found in the standard A1 rear sight.

DD took care of me also
I had one with side to side play also. DD took care of it and replaced it. Already sent back old one s I don't know if it only had logo on one side.
Kudos to DD, nobody perfect, but they made it right.

I just checked my DD A1.5 sight and it also has side to side play. Thanks for making this thread Singlestack, I might not otherwise have noticed. I've only shot with it twice so far and I'm not the greatest shot so I didn't notice any shift in POI. Mine also only has the logo on the right side of the sight.
Just sent and email to DD, I'm sure they'll take care of me like they did for the rest of you.

Wow, I'm glad I checked this thread. I have a really low serial number (AJB0000x) . I checked my A1.5 sight and it has the same play from left to right. If you push on either side of the pin that holds the rear aperture, you can see it move side to side, about an 1/8"! I emailed DD just now. Hopefully they'll take care of it?

They will take care of it without question.

tag. I just ordered some from bravo co so I hope they are not defective.

I will have to check mine out too. I am a huge fan of the A1 sight and when I saw that DD was making these I got one ASAP. I really like them.

just received mine today from bravo co and it has a small amount of play. Looks like they all have it. Is that an issue ?
