    Trijicon TR24 users???

I was wondering how many users of the new TR24 were using the german crosshairs and how did you like them? Thanks.

I have one in green and really like it. Centering the target in the three thick lines is so natural and quick up close. I have run it back to back with my T-1 at 7 to 15 yards and they seem to be about equal in speed.

I can only find them in Amber.... how are the Amber ones? GTG or is Green or Red a lot better? I heard that the TR24's are going to be few and far between for quite some time.

Kind of a shame the availability is still so spotty right now, I'd like to grab a red triangle TR24 with an LT-135 high mount.

I have the Green triangle version (TR24G), and believe it is the ultimate optic for the AR platform available.

I recommend the Green reticles as the tritium illumination is significantly brighter in low-light, than it is with the red tritium. I would suspect that the results would be the same with the German crosshair also.

I don't know if I'm quite there yet, since the trigger time I've had with mine is fairly small (>100rds) but even in zeroing and running dryfire drills, I'm pretty damn impressed so far.

I just got a TR24G yesterday and have it lightly mounted in a Larue LT-135 (high mount) on a Noveske N4 lightweight middy with a Sopmod stock . I have just been playing with it trying to decide what position i want to run the stock on and then position the scope for ER . So far my thoughts on this scope are: I also run a Aimpoint T1 on this rifle and from 5 yds to about 350 yds with the TR24G on 1X with both eyes open it is every bit as fast for me as the T1 and probably faster because i can pickup on the larger size of the triangle quicker. The glass is sharp and clear to the edges with no blur or distortion . It has a large FOV, has plenty of eye relief and your head position is not that critical to get a good fast sight picture. Outside after sunset , or in a dimly lit basement or garage the triangle reticle is very easy to pickup , even with the 20/40 vision in my shooting eye. The green triangle easily stood out on everything i placed it on, sunlit green foliage included . I think the mount height is going to work out fine with the stock on position two because when i bring the rifle up everything is right there inline . I was looking for a 0-350 yd optic and i was willing to settle for some long distance MOM accuracy to pick up some 0-100 yd speed by choosing the triangle over the German #4 reticle. I wanted the green reticle but the amber or red would probably have worked just as well as i have never had a problem with my T1 "red" dot sight . These scopes are hard to get right now but i would definately look through one before you decide on something else.

FYI - on TOF there is a thread where a guy has posted pictures looking through his TR24G with various lighting. It is easy to find.
