    Question Covering scratches on the receiver?

    What would you use to cover up a cosmetic nick on the upper rail. ( it's a new gun, so humor me)

    I've used the pen with limited success, it's good for quick fixes. Go with the aluminum black.

    Crap...I had some scratches on my slip ring and aluminum black wouldn't stick on. So I used a sharpie and it worked. Oh well, it's a beater rifle...
