Quantico has a 1000yd range (range 4) they have regular F class matches there and recreational shooting.

Cavalier Rifle & Pistol Club (Western Hanover County, west of Richmond) has a 500 yard range - the backstop is at 600 but the last target hangers are at 500. Private club but you may be able to find someone there who will bring you as a guest, or just go to a match and make nice and someone can probably help you out.

I'm not aware of anything longer than that in the immediate Richmond area unless somebody has a private tract of land somewhere that is set up for that.

I'm a member of Cavalier, and as dbrowne1 stated, Cavalier's new 500 yd. range is open, the backstop does extend another 100 yds. out to 600.

As GotM4 stated, Quantico is it as far as anything longer than 500.
