Ok, so they're close to the moe like Matt posted then... Thanks. Hopefully I can get my hands on those machined rails then I can run a feet grip and be good to go. Well even better to go, I guess, since it's already good.

I think those offset covers on the sides and a very grip on the bottom will make it perfect.

My problem isn't so much the rail itself, it actually feels great. I need a bit more leverage and also I don't like to activate my light with the tip of my thumb pushing forward, which is ow I have to activate it now. I'd rather press it like I'm thumb wrestling, for a serious lack of a better term.

This is magnified with gloves. Pressing straight forward with the tip of my thumb when wearing gloves doesn't work anywhere near as well as using the pad of my thumb... I don't know why I can't word that better! You know, I like to use the area where my thumb print is...

mtdawg169, here's the thread about the new BCM vert grip. Pat's the only one with them right now. No idea when they'll be in production - http://lightfighter.net/eve/forums?a...73#36820652173

Proven combat techniques may not be flashy and may require a bit more physical effort on the part of the shooter. Further, they may not win competition matches, but they will help ensure your survival in a shooting or gunfight on the street. ~ Paul Howe

The KAC ones look to be lower profile. I wish I could find that pic as the one I remember is considerably lower profile and almost looks integrated.
No worries - figured you didn't see it, I miss stuff like that too.

I'll probably do an 11.5" by then end of the year to replace my 10.5" and am thinking of an 11" NSR or the URX 3.1 mid length. The URX 4 might be an option as well if it's out at the time and availabke in the right length.
I've got at least one extra new KAC rail section for the URX 3/3.1sitting around if you want it but I've used all the bolts and nuts that came with the kit so you'd be on your own for those. I can drop it in the mail if you send me a PM with details.

Ok, got a pic of the KAC rail section. It was actually much thinner than I recalled. It sits slightly higher than the integrated rail, but shouldn't be a problem when mounting a vfg.

Thanks for the pic. Looks like its pretty low profile compared to other options.

I wish someone locally had the panel kit so I could handle it before I order. I'm sure I'll end up liking it.

hjmpanzr, I appreciate it... I'm sending you a PM.

Anyone know where to get the mounting screws for a rail section?

Thanks. Working on a Colt MK18 and 14.5 sopmod build now but Knights is by far my favorite.
