Board policy mandates I state that I shoot for BCM. I have also done work for 200 or so manufacturers within the firearm community. I am prior service, a full time LEO, firearm instructor, armorer, TL, martial arts instructor, and all around good guy.

I also shoot and write for various publications. Let me know if you know cool secrets or have toys worthy of an article...

Converted my baby to Mod. 1 and changed out the BC 1.0 for a BCM Comp.

Any particular reason for swapping the BC for the BCM comp?

Moved to a state that allows NFA so I wanted something I could mount a suppressor to. Also, the BC is LOUD.

Re: KAC Gear.... lets see what you've got.

I just picked up my Mod1 and I'm trying to figure out how I want my light set up. I'd prefer that it not extend past the rear of the flash hider and I usually mount it on the 9 o'clock rail. I was using a Thorntail with a G2, but it extends too far forward on the Mod1. Would a Gear Sector mount pull it in behind the flash hider and still clear the front sight mounting screw? I really don't want to drop the coin on a mini Scout if I don't have to.

Here are a few shots of my setup with a Gear Sector and Surefire E2D.

Thanks for the cylinder head. I may have to go with something more compact in order to work with my hand placement.
