I'm curious, did you use purchase the aluminum or plastic version on the rail extension?

    Thanks

So.... I picked up a rail section from Operation Parts and put on one of my Troy short grips. As of now the only thing that may change on this little guy is the possibility of the new low pro Magpul sights and a suppressor when funds permit.

I didn't need the full 13.5" rail space and figured I'd try to save a tiny bit of weight at the same time. And thanks! I think I'm done for a while (how many times have I told myself this?)

buckjay I felt the same; drank from the HSP Kool-Aid so I adapted and reconfigured.

Plastic was all that was available when I ordered, so that's what I went with.

I've slammed the grip pretty good against my workbench and then removed it to see if there had been any stress marks on the plastic. None what so ever. I'd be pretty surprised to see it snap, it looks and feels solid.
