96’ Colt Upper with all the KAC fixin’s. The lower I pulled from my Mk12 for photos but is an 80% that was reprofiled some time ago by Braceman.

Still needs a Colt N1, an early RIS, and a ITT Pocket Scope Mount, but the last one is likely a fools errand as I’ve never actually seen one outside of these photos..

Don’t get a MAMS if you’re not planning to run 100% suppressed. Despite what KAC fanboys say, all comps/brakes are obnoxious.

On a non-suppressed setup equipped with a MAMS, everything about 6” behind the muzzle will be caked with carbon.

Comps and brakes are obnoxious, but I can personally assure everyone that carbon caking extends no further than about 1" behind a MAMS. Source: Several thousand rounds through various uppers, all with MAMS and FDE Surefure lights, so carbon caking is perfectly visible. I'll dig up a pic.

Further, there really isn't any issue running a MAMS on a SBR or other shorty. The concussion is definitely annoying shooting indoors, but it's a non issue shooting outdoors, especially in a competitive shooting environment. In a team environment, you should be suppressed, period. Hopefully your COC agrees.

It’s from a PD turn in and a real deal chrome lined German proof marked barrel. It’s an older model that came with a plugged gas block.
