I tried to sell the KAC 11.5 CQB upper first but no luck. I miss the medium contour dimpled barrel, URX 3 midlength rail (KAC really should release that commercially best 10.75 rail in existence). KAC really should start selling the 11.5 CQB with the SR16 barrel. As you know well (with your Christmas Cheer barrel). Those barrels are fantastic, especially running suppressor.
I agree on both counts. The midlength URXIII is an awesome rail and I would have liked to have seen it go into production. Since they've abandoned the integrated front sight, it will likely never happen.

Having to give up such a unique upper, with that rail, the dimpled barrel and QDC flash hider would have been a really hard thing for me. I'm sure it was for you.

Sent from my piece of s**t phone using Tapatalk2 (which can be equally unreliable when coupled with a junk phone)
    No more Christmas Cheer.

That's pretty much it. Each year you had to prove that you still had the prior years parts (for every year). They ended it with the barrels & I can't blame them. While I felt fortunate to participate, I can't imagine what a pain in the ass it must have been to keep up with.

Thanks, I'm waiting for a Scout offset mount from Centurion. Yep, that's the Mini.

Any clue when they will release Taupe rail panels for the urx 4? They are not selling them on their site right now.

Yes, to accommodate 300BLK. It is suprisingly soft shooting.

Looks like his scope mount is "bridging the gap." Is that not a no-no anymore?

Costa doesn't seem to be overly concerned about it. My EXPS QD center-point locking screw is residing in the forward-most rail slot on the upper receiver, causing the front end of the integrated optic mount to reside slightly over the gap. I don't have an issue with it. I've always understood this to be a potential issue if the aft end of the mount is secured to the upper while the fore end is secured to the corresponding rail.
