Unless you really want it stick with the stock battery cap. I've had two of the kac ones over the years and both sucked and caused issues.

Finally joined the kac club, but noticed something a bit unusual. The bolt carrier that came with my sr15 has some machining lines around it. Is this normal? Would it affect functionality?The other bolt carriers I’ve had in the past (bcm, spikes, wmd) were all smooth.

Nah man. Those small marks help KAC rifles impart 25% more death per patrol loadout, because they're just that good.

Well my last HK RAS came in today. Somehow I was fortunate enough to get a brand new MP5, HK93, and HK91 hand guards for about the same price people were paying for one 93 or 91 hand guard earlier this year.



It was also a happy stamp day! My NT4 and 762 CQB QDC were approved so here is my collection of Knights suppressors.

762 CQB, MK23, NT4 and CQB.

How does a battery cap cause issues, FTF???

That particular battery cap houses a spare battery. Unless you get it torqued down exactly right, it causes the battery to lose contact during recoil. I've also experienced the issue.
