I have been wanting a new GPS and everything I researched for my wants / needs seemed to point to Garmin GPS 62. So I read a few posts that said the model 60 could be had for about $200. I found you need to be on the ball to get one that cheap but yes you could. Lower rez display than current 62 series.

So I decided the next up from base model with 2x memory would be a good one for me.

Did a little searching for a couple weeks, put it off, thought about spending $369 on a new 62sc and last night I did a search to find REI had them $239 ?!

I thought, ok, I've landed on a old page or bad page or something, so I go through REI site from home page.... sure enough $239.

So anyway I bought it. Has a year no questions asked return policy, I had a few REI bucks saved up and I had to pay tax but got free shipping. $231 to my door....

I hope I haven't done something stupid. I thought maybe it was a refurb.. but I don't think REI sells refurbs. Anyway seems like a deal if anyone needs one..

I do this also, but just to be safe check the "Use by Date" on your packages as sometimes if your buying from a slower sales store you maybe closer to the "Use by Date" then wanted. Most of the O/C items I buy from Dollar tree have a three year storage date which is normal compared to like items purchased from other outlets.

PSA is running a sale on Blemished Safe/Fire Lowers for $59.99 and this is the lowest price I have seen for some time. Now PSA claims the Blemished Lower will only have a minor cosmetic issue but I have yet to see one were I could tell what the Blemish was and is guaranteed to be 100% functional.

MidwayUSA has Walther branded Umarex (made in China) Tactical Pro LED Flashlights on sale for $16.99. Produce 170 lumens via two CR123s. I would not recommend for use on a long arm but if your in need of some inexpensive lights to stash about in drawers, glove boxes, etc. they wouldn't be a bad idea.
