    Ghost rings for Mossy 500

I recently got a Mossberg 500 20" 7 shot and want to put ghost rings on it. I don't want to spend too much money (under $200 if I can). What options are out there since I can't get the Mossberg sights anymore? I've looked mainly at LPA, Vang, and MMC. Would the Scattergun Techs fit, or would they interfere with the safety? I'm going for simple and clean.

I'm pretty sure you can buy the barrel with the front sight and install the rear yourself, assuming you have the receiver that is drilled and tapped.

Otherwise, I'd look at the XS stuff, or maybe Scattergun tech

What about Mossberg's own GRS, I've got a set on my 590 and buddy just had a set put on his 870,

your recever should already be drilled and taped for them,

and get the front post swaped out for a XS Big dot , and you're all set.

Same location as the safett so they don't work. Least expensive route is the Mossberg factory sights. You should be able to do so for under $200. You may have to look around a little to find them in stock. Mossberg was not shipping any out for a few months. I think they are shipping again now.

I have two differant LPA versions on my shotguns. On one the rear is reciever mounted on the other ir is rail mounted. both work well, but are an expensive option at retail.

I've looked for the mossberg sights, but can't find anyone who has them. That's my preferred option. If not, I think I'll go with the MMC's ($155 + installation).

Yeah, I saw that, but they don't have any available. They said they would in a week or so.

If you're interested I've got a 20" 590 barrel with a set of Mossberg ghost rings and magazine tube I'd let go for $120 plus shipping. I pulled them off my 590 and went with a 18" barrel and bead sight. It's got about 100 rounds through it, I just didn't care for the ghost rings.
