I agree, the TA51 ACOG mount could look better. However, I have an RX30-51 on order and will post back here as to the quality/usefulness of the mount as compared to the ARMS mount I used to own.
I was told by Trijicon that the triangle (which I would have much preferred) wasn't practical to implement.
    Yeah, $125 for an ARD!???

    Thumbs up Trijicon Reflex II

In case anybody is wondering which way I decided to go....for the time being

I picked up the 24mm Trijicon Reflex II

Somebody was selling one with a mount in great condition for $175

So I figured I'd give it a try for that price, thats cheaper than the burris fast fire.

So far I have been very satisfied, I haven't come across a situation where I can't see the dot, and I actually prefer the amber colored dot, to the red. Its super acurate and holds a zero as good as anything I have ever used before. Right now its on my SBR M4, but depending, I might put it on my 10/22, or tactical shotgun... but as of now, its staying on my M4!

    Thumbs up

The TA-51 mount is, IMHO, a huge improvement over the ARMS mount. Not only is it lower than the TA-51 mount shown in the pic above, it can be reversed to place the mount knobs on the right if desired (a very good thing if your charging handle is on the left like w/my STG's). Anywho, I'm very happy w/the RX30 but wouldn't run it w/o BUIS for those rare situations where reticle washout can occur (like using a bright taclight at very close range).

ETA: Trijicon is supposedly working on reticles for the RX30 other than the current 6.5moa dot.

If you go with a Micro T-1 I guarantee you wont regret it.

The T-1, unless you're looking to spend somewhat less. In that case, look to the Comp M3/ML3/C3 avenues. If you're not worried about water immersion or NVG compatibility, you can get one of those and a decent mount for near-enough the same $$$.

Alone the GGG mounts are more money than the LaRue mounts, but in a package they are a little better priced.

Go with LaRue. Their package prices are excellent for what you get. From the research I've done on many of their packages, you are getting the mount for like $40-50 over what you'll pay for the optic alone elsewhere.

And of your options, I'd go with the Aimpoint of your choice.
