Shouldn't be a knock off as I bought it from Larue. Wasn't sure if this was normal, as I'm an eotech guy and used to having to change batteries. Lol. Had gone with the T1 for the battery life. Guess ill have to contact aim point and see what they have to say. Mine is the 4 moa T1 as well.
Yes, it is a T-1.
I checked last night on my white walls with the Fury on, the T-1 on 7and I can clearly see the dot, it is small, however, I do not have to search for it, once the gun is up, the dot is there.
I also use setting 7 as a compromise: bright enough to be used with a WML, dim enough to be used in the partial darkness of my house.

My 2-MOA T1 is about a year and a half old and has never been turned off. I keep it at 8 unless I'm shooting in daylight. I should probably change the battery, but the gambling addict side of me makes me want to see how long it will last.

My T1 is about just as old as Ftroopers, been on for most of that time, minus the time spent in a conex on its way over here, been on and on 9 ever since, two months so far, with the insane temp swings, I'll let you know when it eventually needs a new battery.
