Here's a MK18 build I did last year with a Noveske 10.5" barrel:

The MK18 thread shoulder is coincident with the end of the rail system. That makes it compatible with very few silencers as a lot of them extend back slightly behind the thread shoulder.

I've been trying to figure it out based on pics and info on Daniel Defense's site but they don't have too much detailed info or pics on it. I know the OAL of the rail is 9.5" according to their site. I'm hoping to build my mid-length upper with a vltor mur and a 16" noveske barrel w/ pinned switchblock. Any ideas if the switchblock will clear the rail? I want just enough clearance to be able to change the setting but not far enough to expose the gas tube. I think I read on another thread that the mk18 rail clears the switchblock just about the same as the noveske marked SWS rail. Any ideas?

What is the length of this rail? It looks over 9" I assume.
9.5" I believe
Can anyone tell me if the Noveske 10.5" CQB Barrel w/ switchblock fit will under the DD MK18 RIS II ?
