Thanks, Wake--I was trying to elbow it back to Hardware/Toolset and end the tangent once-and-for-all with that last.

Let's see some loadouts, guys, and get back to sharing the knowledge...

    Rifle not pictured
Ibiley USMC Chest Rig, 6x PMAG (4 black to be replaced by 4 more MCT upon arrival)

Still need to source, build up and add:
    --IFAK, strong side
--TQ carrier, top or bottom of IFAK
    --canteen pouch, weak side
    --headlamp in frag-pouch, strong side
--compass in frag pouch, weak side
    --dump pouch, attachment uncertain

Mock me as a LARPer all you like, but I'm a believer that when I'm shooting Service Rifle my gear should match my iron--if I'm bringing a Garand to the party I'm gonna be rocking WWII-design gear. Anybody interested in helping me build this out into a reasonably close Rifleman Set loadout, CONSTRUCTIVE suggestions are welcome--plate carrier, Camelbak and rucksack will come later.
Nothing wrong with being a larper, be it medievil gear or modern battle gear. It's a citizen's duty to be equipped. However, a warrior is sound in body and mind. You need to get fit. There's nothing more unfortunate, when help is needed, that a person be ready and willing, but can't. This is about as constructive criticism as you can get from anyone here. We are all sure that you already know this but it's our obligation to push you to action. No excuses. If you're healthy enough to don a PC/vest, mags, and a battle rifle, you're healthy enough to work to be even healthier.

So forget about the gear and spend some money on some select weight, bands, a reclining bench, a pull up bar, and get to work. These days, you don't even need a gym. If you can spend a few hundred on gear, you can spend it on the tools to help create the most useful tool; your body and in turn, your mind.

NO EXCUSES. We're root'n for you. Post a photo of you in that same vest on April 17th of 2020.

    Things to remember:

    1. You killed your metabolism and trained your body to store fat for later. The only way to reverse this is to teach it that it will take in 4-6 small meals/healthy snacks a day, so it can use it to fuel your body for a workout or two, and daily activities.

    2. Eat slow acting carbohydrates in the morning, like oatmeal, to slowly carry out energy though out the day. Eat faster carbs, like healthy pasta, to give bursts of energy for a hard workout.

    3. Get good, and plenty sleep. Your body will need it to repair, for number four...

    4. The fasted way to burn fat is by building muscle. You don't need to waist money on supplements. You're not going to be body building. You need to focus on getting your body back to it's natural active form. Animal protein is plenty. Do reps of 8-10 to build, instead of higher reps to tone. You don't need to worry about toning right now. Muscle burns fat 24/7. Build it up, as naturally as possible.

    5. Muscle weighs more than fat, so the scale will demotivate you if you're not careful. The best way to measure your progress is by progress itself. If you're upping weight, increasing your cardio, and your body is overall MORE capable, you're doing great. If not, it's time to change things up to trick the body.

    6. Have a cheat day. Spend ONE day eating all the bull shit that made you how you are. That way you're not tempted to do it on a regular basis. Just don't pig out.

    7. TAKE COLD SHOWERS! Cold showers helps discipline the mind and can assist in losing weight. It'd be a damn scientific journal to list examples and effects of cold showers, so look it up for more knowledge, but DO IT. EVERY NIGHT. You can start by taking a hot shower and cleaning yourself, but take a few minutes of a cold shower at the end. Stand IN the water. I'm talking let it poor down and around your body and silence your mind. When you stop shaking and freaking out, become comfortable and get to the point where you even NEED it, you would have made HIUGE mental and physical progress.

I'm sure I may be forgetting other crucial things, but members will chyme in with additional assistance. For dumbbells, I would recommend select weights as apposed to a set. They store better, change faster, and give you a great feeling when you see less and less plates as you get stronger.

GET TO WORK! See you in 6 months!

Wow, what a bunch of D-Bags in here. Way to keep it classy gents.

    ANYWAYS,

This is just a range set up. As a firearms instructor, it lets me run lighter on the range without wearing my any duty gear.

HSP D3CRX Micro, Hanger for med kit, and Flat Pack. Esstac Belt and pouches with a Safariland RDS holster.

Just got the belt in today, its way too big and needs to be exchanged for a smaller size.

My AR500 Guardian plate carrier for home defense. I have some shooting land and wearing this along with my AR pistol, makes me feel better. I'm a minimalist so this vest was perfect. The pouches are by WYNEX, cheap and they work. I tried using Tacos, the poly kind, but I could not get them to work side by side. And the Vest stand I made myself.
