Thought I would throw a quick update in the thread.

I have made a few more plate carriers for buddies of mine. Im actually really liking how these are turning out, but I think I am gonna change the design of the front plate pocket to make it easier to manufacture as well as add new features. My main inspiration for this carrier was a ultra light weight carrier that was still full of features.

How does it feel compared to any others you have tried?

Honestly with UHMWPE plates it feels like a good chest rig more than any other "Armor" set up l have worn in the past. In fact it barely feels like wearing armor at all. I wear light plates because I have a bad back and had a hip surgery 2 years ago, and I can wear my prototype rig while shooting local 2 gun matches and it doesn't slow me down at all compared to my 'softer' competitors.

I have both the NCPE and NCPE V2. The NCPE is by far superior to it's newer version. The V2 has so much slop in the TQ plate, no way to fully tighten it.

Interesting thanks for sharing, I haven't heard of the Ferro IFAK before but looks easier to deal with than a dangler pouch (my Multi-Mission Hanger from Haley)
