i wear my pistol on my belt, the draw clears the admin pouch quite well. the ifak pouch however was a little tricky getting around but with a little practice im now able to draw quite efficiently.
the brush is just used to get any dirt, sand, or dust out of my rifle.
Do you run a drop or thigh rig for your pistol? I had my IFAK in the same place initially and couldn't get it to work without going to a thigh rig. Ended up moving my IFAK.

J8127,
What reservoir do you put in the emdom pouch? Dig the kit - I run my AWFAPC pretty similar.
That particular Emdom carrier takes a 2 liter pouch and is shorter/wider than the standard 3 liter (doesn't hang past the bottom of your vest or look like a saggy mess).
Tactical Tailor actually had some, I'm not really sure what they are specifically, I just know they are 2 liters (70oz).
My general purpose kit:
Soft Kevlar and Plates
Room for 8 mags, general purpose pouch(SAW ammo pouch), Med Pouch(ACU), Axe(on back)
The Gear:
DBT FAPC Gen II
DBT pouch zipper add-on
Leatherman MUT
SOF-T
BFG tq strap, double M4, double pistol
Ares Gear Ranger
G19/ Warren night sights
SF E2L
CompTac CTAC
CompTac mag/light holder
modified TT patch panel, US flag, Death Mechanic
ATS Med pouch-small(gloves, 2x H and H comp, 14ga. needle, Tk4, SWAT-T,duct tape, NPA,4" control wrap, 4" Olaes, 2 sm zipties, 2 safety pins, surgi-lube, alcohol prep pad)
550 cord
Why this gear:
Bare plate carrier was given to me
The MUT is really handy for all sorts of things including gun tinkering when needed.
SOF-T/BFG strap: Heard good things about this TQ, really easy to use, sturdy, BFG puts it where both hands can get it.
BFG mag pouches are small light and work really well for me, no extra bulk.
Ranger belts are the heat, I don't feel the need to explain
G19: Again no need to explain
CompTac gear has always worked well for me, sturdy and comfortable. I do have a RCS on the way to try out as well.
Patch panel, yep just for CDI factor. I am a mechanic that "fixes things to death" so that patch works for me.
ATS med pouch is small and I can tear it off with either hand.
Why this "system":
As a civi I'm betting light, slim and fast is the way to go. Three primary and four secondary mags "should" be plenty. I can not imagine a situation where that many rounds would be too few to solve any problem "I" would encounter at home or in training. Really, its probably over-kill. The idea of the main TQ being easy to get with both hands just makes sense, same for the MUT to fix little things when needed.
No armor yet, still shopping. Grey Group may be getting some $$ from me in that dept. Just running big kydex panels to stiffen it up.
I think that's it and I hope I stayed true to the spirit of the thread. On a side note I would not even have a system put together if the PC had not been given to me, Id be running downstairs with mags stuffed in my boxers and not much else, but since I like to train how I might fight this is a little more friendly in public.
