You are right about the knife, this one is like a place holder until I find the one that works better for me.

On the other hand, these cable ties have been amazing for me. They are UV resistant and have pulled a lot of long miles with-out giving in an inch. Paracord hasn't given up on me either, but I have had it loosen up on me and cause irritating difficulties.

The picture however was not about the knife, it is all about the Pistol Magazine Pouches, which will get some more work after yesterdays input.

Seriously though, if you plan on carrying a sword, those zip ties WILL NOT hold up to any serious use. You are better off using 550-cord with overhand knots tied in. Trust me on that.

    Changes to Pouch Made

After going out, doing some testing and getting some valuable input:
    Shortend the pull tabs
    Centered front bungies
Moved adjustment mechanism to rear to minimize snagging

Love your setup. Ugh I wish I had a 1911 but from the looks of it, your prefer the Glock? Nice AR too. I have one as well, but just prefer the AK. Thanks, but I did not take that course. I have taken a local course and have a list of a few I want to attend, but it'll have to be after things calm down. I don't want to pay these new prices for ammo and I don't want to use up my stores.

I just got back from an overnighter walking around the woods with guns and figured this would be a good place to post the vid. It wasn't directed at anyone in particular. I see a lot of nice new gear in these threads, and I've always made it a point to get pics and vids of my gear dirty and in action- ostensibly to encourage others to do the same but my own narcissism comes in to play as well.
Since this is a pic thread we'll see how far back my gear goes..
