In the sense of what you would just put on first or the sense of what gear is most important? It seems like you're saying the primary gear is on your vest and the belt is just for overflow, which I believe is opposite to what most others here would pick, saying that if they had to choose only one, they'd pick belt. Not trying to criticize, I'm just bringing it up because I'm not set on how I want to organize my kit.

Its not about what I think he should have, just the wording he used. I'm only trying to clarify.

I admit that my wording was poor. I’ll try to clarify it.
I set my belt up so it could be used by itself without a vest. For pistol classes or informal pistol competitions I use my belt only without any other gear. For a rifle class, I just throw on the vest with some extra mag pouches.
I feel that my vest should only carry the bare minimum plus armor, in this case extra primary mags and water. This is how I’ve been running my kit for three years now.

The Tacos are great, especially when I want to change weapons & use my AK. Don't need to change kits. The SKD hydration pouch is GTG, it doesn't hang off the PC at all.

Cool thanks. I like my Taco's but wasn't sure how I'd feel about them sitting on top of a plate, was wondering if they're a little bulky for that setup.
