Agree. A laser is a much have on a HG IMHO.

Lasers are also a good intimidator. The dot makes people noticably more uncomfortable than just pointing a pistol at them. I wouldnt want to have any other officer, family member using their laser at the same time. Too difficult to tell which dot belongs to which person.

I don't thing that is a big issue. As always revert to your iron sights when in doubt.

I think you're right, I probably won't be satisfied until I try and practice with both......Curiosity would probably kill me until I got it out of my system to test both in different situations.....
I can see how each can have different benefits.....The laser does provide that extra intimidation factor that could stop a perp before he made another stupid move.....and save me a bullet....
