Just put an Eotech on my homebuilt AMD-65

I LOVE the Ultimak mount. Its solid and places the Eotech in a forward scout-type configuration.

Now to bead blast, park, and molycoat the rifle.......when it gets warmer!

I had an Eotech 552 on my 106 using a Ultimak rail but it was too tall. I'm not using an Aimpoint CompC3 (2MOA) with it's factory ring. It's just low enough to see the sights through it.

How is the weight balance? It looks nose-heavy but maybe it isn't in practice. The Ace stocks are great. I have one on my Saiga 12ga. It'll take a beating.
