mossy 835 defense shotgun ?

, whats you guys think of the mossy 835 as an home defense shot gun ?

mine is 24'' barrel, with super full turkey xxx, and also have I/C choke.

The 835 is basicly a 18" 590(not A1) that can shoot 3.5" shells. They make a 18" barrel, but they are hard to find. It shares the same mag tube as the 18" 590A1 and will take the 590 barrels, but is not generaly recommended since they don't fire 3.5" shells.

Think of it as the Mossberg version of a 870 mag. All that said I would choose a 590A1, 18" model first.

well it's what i have, did not know the 590 barrels will work. thanks !
firing the 3 1/2 inchers isent the most pleasent, but is nice knowing, i can run any 12ga, Ammo, in my 835.
the 835 seems pretty robust and heavy duty.
