What improvements to the Aimpint T-1 would you like to see?

I know a lot of people would wish for a 2 MOA dot instead of the present 4 MOA. But besides that, what improvements to the Aimpint T-1 would you like to see? Here are my suggestions for a "T-2" model.

    1. Intensity adjustment knob on the left side so that it can be adjusted by the non-shooting hand of a right handed shooter. The shooting hand never leaves the pistol grip nor is the cheek weld broken. I feel this is important in different lighting conditions during dynamic combat movement where the the red dot intensity needs to be increased and decreased continually at a moments notice.

    2. The battery cover "coin slot" needs to be widened to allow a replacement 2032 battery to be used as the tool to unscrew the cover. As it is now, you need a separate tool (ex. a quarter) which can be easily lost. If the old battery died and you wanted to replace it with a new battery, it would seem logical to use the new battery as a tool. If you didn't have a new battery to use as a tool, there would be no point in opening up the battery cover anyhow.

    3. Reduce the overall size of the "T-2" even smaller, possibly lengthwise, without sacrificing durability or capability. I'm sure we will see this eventually as technology evolves allowing more compactness.

    4. An option switch which allows a 65 MOA red ring to be added or subtracted to the present red dot reticle as the end user sees fit. This would negate the one "disadvantage" when most compare Aimpoint reticles to EOTechs.

    5. The four mounting screws seem small. Larger diameter screws would possibly make the indestructible sight even more durable.

What do you guys think of these sugesstions?

Do you work for Aimpoint or have any ability to implement any suggestions?

The screws are fine. No reports from anyone on problems with them.

i'd just like to see overall size of the price reduced 50% or so.

I spent most of my time trying to master the optic vs. trying to make it in to the Perfect Optic, cause there is no such thing..

With a 5 year battery life, using a tool to replace it is not a huge deal...

    the screws work just fine..

    Don't need or like a 2moa DOT...

Need to change intensity... roll the gun 45 degrees inboard and use your left hand... real simply....

reduce the overall size.... seems about right the way it is...

    Now there's a fine idea!

The only other change I'd really care to see is a slightly larger space around the objective lens so it would be easier to add a flip-up cover to each end. I find the bikini covers awkward and I like to have covers so I can QD it to put it in a pocket/pouch if need be without scratching it..

    Since we're dreaming:

I'd like half notch "OFF" positions.

I'd them to sell for $350.

I think they are just fine, as is. I just haven't had the budget to buy one on a Lt mount, yet. Dot size is not a problem, for me, at any range I might legally employ deadly force.
