2 MOA, Flip-up lens covers, and a killflash.

Oh yeah, and Bobro needs to make a mount for it.

I disagree with your flip up idea, that is just less field of view to deal with. With that said, that rubber cover is kind of a pain.

Im not really seeing the need for a 2moa dot. If I recall, the T-1 dot is actually more like 3.4 MOA and uses the same diameter diode as the M4. Except that because they shortened the tube, the dot became slightly bigger.

Doesn't have to be an issue. Nice thing about flip up covers is you can put 'em on upside down and they become flip down covers.

Everybody who is asking for 2 MOA dot may want to look at photos I posted here https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=42656.

What's the point of that? If they aren't lined up with the rear at the same spot so that you see both exactly as you would using them, it's not a very good representation. If you stagger at different distances one can make a 5.56 round look smaller than a .22LR in a pic.

Put 'em both on the same setting (say the second visible one with the front lens cap on), side by side on a table. THEN for a second pic put a magnifier behind each one and see if you can't see a difference.

To show, to the best of my ability, that there isn't any practical difference between T-1 and M4s dot sizes. This fact has been commented on by many, including Aimpoint's staff.

True; again, this is the best I could.

If you are suggesting that I do that for my personal observation, then I've done it many times. For photo representation, I don't believe it is possible to show since you have to be directly behind the optic to see the dot. With side-by-side optic position, you can be behind only one at the time.

Done that too, last time - last night, when I took those pics; it doesn't make much difference for the most part.

As I wrote in other thread, there is an exception where I can tease out the difference. In medium to low light, if I want to get to the smallest dot possible which is still visible, I get a smaller dot with M4s. I am not even sure if it is a factor of dot size, additional brightness settings or both.

I am not trying to convince anybody in anything. For all purposes, I have no dog in T-1 vs M4 dot size fight. I have enough of both optic for my purposes, and I can get rid of one in favor of another at any time. My photo op was supposed to be thought-generating for those who think that there is much difference between 2 and 3.4 MOA dots, 'cause, really, there isn't.

I have only shot the T-1 for a couple of days on a T&E gun, that said, I found that I really liked it. What would I change, add, or otherwise make available? A rubber cover, maybe (I know, the damn thing is nearly indestructible) like those for the ML2, in different colors . Perhaps a 1.5 magnification with a donut reticle (I used to have an AUG and am looking at getting another bullpup, the 1.5X and the donut have their uses). Some type of bump ring near each of the lenses, I was always a bit leary of how accessible the optic glass was and I was parnoid I might scratch it, I was shooting a loaner after all.
