So I know this is just another MK18 to all of ya guys but for me its been a long time coming. After living under the anti-freedom thumb of California my whole life (and in Marin County at that) I was finally able to escape about two years ago. So...11 months and 2 days after filing for my stamps - one for the DD MK18 and one for the AAC SR5 - I finally got my baby. I used that 11 month wait time to amass the things I wanted to put on the rifle. She is done and to me she is absolutely beautiful.

Haven't quite run the thing through its paces yet but took it out last weekend to sight her in. I also ran a few different V-TAC drills. All in all put about 150-200 rounds through her. No issues so far and to be honest I didn't feel any gas to the face that I hear so much about. This weekend will see more action for sure. Life is good right now.
