This picture is over a year old though. It has a Vltor stock now.

You wound up constructing your own "BL Grip" didn't you? How do you like that thing?

I run my shit all the way out front too, due to being 'vertically challenged' like Grant

    I really like it.

It does everything I need. I get my light at 6 0-clock like I want and a vert grip all in one relatively cheap package. Plus the 6P makes an excellent weapons light in the first place.

No not yet, I still need to buy one.

I will get you a parts list tonight, but I just followed BL's advice and the LF "How To" thread that ChistianR (I think) posted.

    Clint,
Looks like you finally scored some of those sights....or did you break down and make them yourself?
And no matter what you say, that is a FINE looking SBR!

That is from a run of Maritime CIRAS vests from Eagle that I had made up in the MultiCam pattern.

I just build mine using the "How To" thread posted by Christian R on the Lightfighter forum. He used the thread posted by Basicload as a guide and worked out the details for everybody else to follow. It was very easy and only took about a half hour.

    "Gangster Grip" Vertical Foregrip Lights

    http://lightfighter.net/eve/forums/a...061#4181032061

I had an old 6P that was not being used so it just made sense. It also solved a problem for me. I had just come back from a LAV class were he teaches to grip the weapon out farther on the hand guards for better recoil control. Larry actually reaches out far enough to grip the bayonet lug at times. I tried this technique and as you might expect it works.

My only problem was mounting a white light without using a tape switch (I dislike them). The "Gangsta Grip" solved the problem perfectly and also allowed me to have a vert grip. The only thing I did different was some additional re-contouring of the A2 grip to get rid of the hump. I also added a piece of inter-tube to hide it. It was damn ugly after the re-contour job.
