Yes, many details here. Yes the tint still bugs me as a flashlight junkie and the switch feels unrefined but it is simple, rugged, and entirely usable. There is no better light sight combo solution IMO, unless you need PEQ type device.
Not gonna lie.. Was not a huge fan of the included switch... Worked ok but really wanted click on.. So just got the adapter and ran a sure fire switch which I'm really happy with.. And totally agree.. Struggled to find anything better than this for my needs..

The outline of what? Not really sure what you mean..

I like that the factory switch it is momentary only with twist constant on.

I understand the concept of lighting when needed.. and not leaving the light constantly on.. but in my mind having the ability to click on if desired is a bonus... the twist on is fine.. but difficult to perform without compromising your support hand..

Updated pic. New M300 scout light. Way better than an old TLR-1. Swapped the stock off my SPR so I have on gun battery storage. Went back to the original Vortex flash suppressor. KX5 was good for directing the blast downrange, but not as accurate. It was also heavier and longer and kinda looked dorky. (plus I had it cranked on too tight)
