First run with a 5.56 SBR. I have to say, I'm Really happy with it. First time I took it out, I took a few different buffers, figuring I would have to try and figure out which config worked best, but this little 11.5 BCM ran fin both suppressed and non-suppressed with the standard carbine buffer I had for the .300 Black Out I was running before.
The Elzetta alpha certainly isn't the brightest out there, but works hreat, and is short enough that I can run it as far forward as possible without passing the barrel when the can is off.
Upgraded my zombie gun today.
Gun now has an aimpoint t2 in larue mount and the kac ambi mag release since I'm a south paw.
Gun specs:
Zombie Defense lower that they form 2'd(I think that one was made by mega)
G&R lower parts kit(mostly lmt), ergo grip, magpul trigger guard, lmt ambi safety, kac ambi mag release.
BCM buffer tube, h buffer, etc. B5 sopmod stock.
Upper: PK firearms custom with milspec upper, dd 10.3 barrel, a2 flash hider set with peal washers for my suppressor, magpul front grip, handguard, and rear sight. Aimpoint T2 2moa in larue mount.
I'm setting it up as my lighter option to the lmt wiht rail and suppressor I posted earlier. I was happy with the t1 aimpoint I put on the m10 machine gun so I figured I'd put one on here as well(I'm more used to the bigger ones).
And yes I know the zombie defense lower is kinda goofy. They are local to me and I like how its city/state markings are local. Also I have one of the ones from his first run that has the same number part of the serial(this one is zg00xx the other is z00xx). That gun is not a sbr though.
