I made more incremental changes to my SBR and I'm still getting used to the new setup, but almost to the 10k round mark on the rifle itself. I definitely feel the extra weight of the new optic, but I'm loving the 1.93 mount and extra magnification at distance. I need way more time behind it to see if the weight is a real issue or not, and getting used to the new glass.

I'm on the fence with the M600DF vs. RM1... truth be told, I'm more impressed with the Streamlight now after owning the Surefire. I'm sure that statement will put a bunch of panties in a bind but I'm honestly underwhelmed by the performance of the M600DF, indoors and out. At 3x the cost, 4.25x the output and nearly 2x the size, I was expecting the Surefire to knock my socks off, but frankly I've so far been unpleasantly surprised with the beam pattern, color temperature and candela. Again, I need more time behind it to know for sure.
