Thanks for all your replies. I went ahead and ordered the TR24G. Does anyone know the BC flip cover sizes for the eye and obj? Thanks.
I have been keeping my eye out for this: IOR Pitbull

That Pitbull looks really interesting. Does anyone have the story behind this optic? Or experience with it?
I was going to ask why the Millett DMS-1 was left off this discussion because for the price of a S&B, I can have 10+ of these.
I have been looking at overall weight increase and the S&B comes in at the top of the weight list.
I agonize over the light weight and profile of the regular Aimpoint versus the magnification of a 1-4 illuminated optic. Right now, I run light and have been noticing the guys with the heavier Leupolds and Short Dots are running tighter groups in the same time.
Sigh...
Couldn't find any reviews for Pitbull... If someone finds one, I'm interested.

I am a huge IOR fan and have two of them. With respect to the pitbull, I would call Scott at Liberty Optics and talk to him. There is a reason I tried the Meopta and the TR24, and finally settled on the TR24.
Here's a link for a review of the Pitbull. Overall it appears to be a good optic but the con's are that its not daytime visible and heavy. I've got some reticle shots somewhere of another members Pitbull that I'll dig up if anyone's interested.
In a world where small details are the difference between a top product and just another contestent, both the daylight brightness and weight (almost a pound and a half!) take this out of the running when compared to the solid and accepted optics that are out there.
Neat idea with the fast lens, and I am sure the emphasis on rugged added to the weight problem. I would want to handle one of these and run it before I made a purchasing decision.
Thanks for the link.
