Yea, you'll want to use extreme caution dealing with them. We've dealt with them and had the flawless transaction and then the PITA. We no longer deal with them at all. This is just our personal experience, your mileage may vary.

I have had multiple recent dealings with no issues.
One of the Moderators here, Buck, started working for them. (I haven't heard that this changed.)
There were recommendations to mention his name when ordering, and I believe Botach was trying to repair their reputation.

Like most, I've had good and bad dealings with Botach.
What I did find out the last time, was that their inventory is not real time.
The people taking orders do not know if an item you order is actually in, or just listed in the catalogue.
i agree. i ordered a watch for a substantial discounted price. i asked if it was instock...the lady on the phone said....lemme check the warehouse.....a few minutes later she said ...yes we have two left with the rubber wrist band. i said okay and placed the order. gave her my cc info. cc was charged.....two weeks and no watch. i called back, inquired about my order.said they were out of stock.
i gave them my order number, said i was on back order. i stated that i placed the order when you guys had two in stock....so whats going on?? are you gonna get more in and fill the orders??? they said they didnt know. i said you have my money already and i dont have my product....its been two weeks going on the third. i would like a refund please. they said it will take TWO MORE WEEKS TO PROCESS MY REFUND?!!!??!? so now i have to pay interest on something i dont have?!??!?!?? WTF??!?!?! never again for me......went with LA POLICE gear. ordered my watch, got it within 4 days. paid a little more, but dangit...i got it. hehehee/rant

If you check resellerratings.com you will find low overall ratings, but you will also find some happy customers.
I have made 3 purchases through their web site and the first 2 went off without a hitch with fast shipping.
The 3rd went a little slower. I kept checking my charge card account and noticed that they hadn't charged the item yet so I simply waited to see what would happen. Obviously they were out of stock as about 3 weeks later my card was charged and I received the item about 2 days later.
Their problem appears to communication, or rather the lack thereof. But hey, if I don't need the item in hurry, and they don't charge my account until they are ready to ship, I can live with their lack of communication in exchange for their prices. But Amazon they are not when it comes to communication.
I've probably made over 10-15 purchases through them. Some transactions were perfect. A few were messed up, but none of them were bad enough that it made me stop going back. The fact is, IF you are not in a hurry, and you make a large purchase, sometimes it is worth a little extra wait time to save a hundred dollars. If you need your item NOW, then don't test these guys, they'll fail you.
I agree that their communication sucks bad, but lately it has gotten better. They actually have someone replying to their emails now. It is hard to get someone on the phone sometimes and the trick is usually to call really early when they open.
