Anyone know if Aimpoint has made any plans to offer the T1/H1 with a 2 MOA dot?

WHY??
it's approx 3.4MOA now... what is that 1.4 MOA going to do??
It's not a Sniper optic... it's a CQB sight....
I did a bunch of checking on this . . . no substantiated info that a 2 moa version is forthcoming.
Ended up getting an H1. It works for me.
If I need more precision out of it, I'll use the 12:00 edge of it, just like you use the tip of your front sight, for a precise aiming point.

I'm about to buy a T1 with 4 MOA dot which can only mean the 2 MOA model will be coming out the next week![]()

Aimpoint has mentioned in the past that the projector (for lack of a better term) in the T-1 is the same as in the larger 2 MOA optics but because of the short length it appears as a ~3.5 dot.
I don't get the obsession either. I have a 2 MOA C3 and I like the smaller dot for some things, but IMHO if you're trying to engage tiny targets for groups at distance with an RDS you're doing it wrong.
You use what you have. My patrol rifle has an M4 with a 3x magnifier. If I have to take a long shot and a partially concealed threat I want to be able to do that. 2 moa is not bad. 4 moa is ok at 100 yards but sucks past that. So most of the time its fine. But sometimes its not so good.
